We are partnering with Newcastle Perms (296), a leading Further Education and Apprenticeship provider, to support the recruitment of an experienced Trainer Assessor in Plumbing. This role will involve delivering high-quality training, mentoring, and assessment to learners, ensuring they achieve their qualification goals.

Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and gas, holding relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Plumbing qualification or equivalent. They will be expected to manage a caseload of learners, develop tailored learning plans, conduct initial assessments, and engage with employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Mentorship: Develop and implement effective training programs, provide one-to-one mentorship, and facilitate group discussions to enhance learner engagement.
Requirements
  • Essential:
  • A Level 3 Plumbing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 6035) or equivalent.
  • Domestic gas certifications (CCN1, CENWAT).
  • A Level 3 TAQA or equivalent, or willingness to achieve.
Location and Contract Details

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cambridge, offering a competitive salary of £25,918 - £39,004 per annum, plus benefits including 27-34 days annual leave, Teachers' Pension Scheme, and a comprehensive package of employee perks.
