Role Overview:

The role of Onsite Support Engineer is crucial in providing additional support at Warton and Samlesbury Sites alongside their existing AV Team. They will be based at Warton, working with the Current AV Team on Conference and Events, and alongside the Visavvi Onsite Service and Installation teams.

The individual will be asked to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working alongside the Visavvi On-Site Service and Installation Engineers, helping with their requirements. Their expertise will contribute to enhancing the overall Customer experience from their AV Department.

Must live within the Preston/Blackpool area to ensure prompt arrival and support for On-Site Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Existing Conference, Service, and Installation Teams on site
  • Setting up, derig, and operation of Audio-Visual Equipment for On & Off Site Meetings
  • Conducting Meeting room checks ensuring all equipment functions correctly
  • Delivering a high-quality service experience to users and customers
  • Fault Finding and Resolution of AV/VC problems
  • Reporting and Maintaining Conference Equipment
  • Working in a team with the current on-site Conference Technician

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience of setting up AV equipment for on-site meetings
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues, identifying and resolving technical problems efficiently
  • Ability to gain security clearance
  • Must live within the Preston/Blackpool area to ensure prompt arrival and support for On-Site Clients
  • Requirement to work out of hours if required
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for customers
