About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hobbycraft. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the management team and driving sales, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the till and accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions
- Oversee store operations, including merchandising, goods in, warehouse operations, and duty management responsibilities
- Support and coach new colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Coordinate the workload of colleagues to ensure efficient store operations
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year's previous retail experience is essential, with managerial or supervisory roles being advantageous
- Passion for all things craft and a desire to inspire others
- Ability to learn and share expertise of products to meet customer needs
- High levels of enthusiasm, drive, and motivation
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Flexibility to accommodate business trading needs
