ProCook is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our store team and help drive sales and customer satisfaction.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Your Recipe for Success:

As our Deputy Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

A Typical Day at Work:

  • Start by briefing your team on daily sales targets and goals.
  • Engage with customers and provide expert product knowledge to help them find the perfect products.
  • Train your team on products, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising and stock accuracy.
  • End the day by preparing the store for the next day, including restocking and replenishing inventory.

Daily Activities:

  • Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Take charge in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Create memorable shopping experiences that drive customer loyalty and retention.
  • Train and inspire your team to be product experts and brand ambassadors.
  • Maintain a spotless and inviting store layout, including visual merchandising and display.
  • Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities to save without compromising quality.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and report any discrepancies.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Has retail experience, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Is driven to meet sales targets and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • A natural leader with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Is detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Comfortable with technology, including POS systems and inventory management.
