Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our ProCook Cirencester Store team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in the overall management of the store, including staff supervision, customer service, and sales performance.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and lead by example, ensuring that all team members provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a high level of operational excellence, ensuring that all store processes are followed and that the store is always well-presented.
  • Team Development: Support the development of the store team, providing coaching and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and merchandising.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a retail environment, with a track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Operational Skills: Strong operational skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
  • Team Development: Ability to develop and motivate a team, providing coaching and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Financial Management: Basic financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
