Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Culinary Assistant to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare delicious, high-quality food that meets our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas, adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
- Machinery and Equipment: Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant authorities.
- Delivery and Supply: Assist with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, and ensure that all goods are stored and handled safely.
- Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK and maintain a positive brand image at all times.
- Health and Safety: Comply with Health & Safety regulations and report any incidents or near-misses to the relevant authorities.
Requirements:
- Teamwork: Demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues at all levels.
- Pressure Management: Manage pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Flexibility: Be flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Timekeeping and Reliability: Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability, ensuring that you are punctual and ready to work at the start of each shift.
