Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

Salary:

$70,000 - $100,000 per annum

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join the NDT team within Civil Aerospace Critical Part Manufacture function based in Washington.

About the Role
  • Ensure the engineering specifications are satisfied for new part introduction and ongoing manufacture by controlling and developing NDT processes required to support production.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in the manufacture of components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address manufacturing issues and improve process efficiency.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to operators and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of quality control measures and make recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • Level 2 OR Level 3 NDT certification in any of the following techniques: Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, and Magnetic Particle Inspection.

  • Degree qualified preferred or extensive experience at Level 2.

  • Qualified to a degree level/equivalent in Materials Science, Metallurgy or an appropriate Engineering discipline.
