Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Pass Server to join our team at TAO Group Hospitality. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Setup: Ensure the pass section is clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary supplies, including crockery, cutlery, condiments, and more.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock count, reporting any shortages to the Manager, and ensure the restaurant has adequate supplies for the shift.
  • Food Delivery: Take responsibility for ensuring that all food, crockery, cutlery, and condiments leaving the kitchen/pass meet the required standard and are delivered to the correct table in a timely manner.
  • Menu Management: Assist in the management of advance special and group dining menu orders.
  • Communication: Act as a communicator between the kitchen and Floor Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of food service.
  • Breakage Control: Monitor and control breakages on a day-to-day basis in line with restaurant guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Ensure the Commis Waiters are trained and have the necessary tools to carry out their duties, and provide feedback to the Managers to assist in improving performance.
  • Duty Distribution: Effectively manage the distribution of duties amongst Commis Waiters, ensuring duties are completed in a timely manner and to the required standard.
