Job Title: Sales Ledger and Billing Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger and Billing Officer to join our established finance team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Group achieves cash collection targets and minimises debts of concern.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the sales ledger and billing function on a set area of the sales ledger
* Provide support to the Credit Control Manager
* Raise sales invoices in line with customer invoicing terms
* Chase local authority accounts for payment of invoices and deal with queries
* Allocate cash received against ledger
* Reduce current debtor days on ledger to agreed target, per customer, per region

Requirements:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network at all levels
* Proven proficiency using Microsoft Word packages
* Experience within a similar role and chasing Local Authorities for payments
