Minimum salary: £35,130 - £42,000 (plus a London Weighting Allowance of £4,126)

About the Role

This position involves working with victims of crime and their families to provide information about offenders' sentences or orders. You will work in accordance with relevant policies and legislation to assess and manage risk posed by offenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information to victims and their families during key stages of an offender's sentence or order.
  • Contribute to the assessment and management of risk of harm to victims and their families.
  • Travel regularly to maintain contact with victims, their families, and other professionals.

You must have knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system and be able to demonstrate a commitment to equality and inclusion. The post holder must also adhere to all policies in respect of sensitive/confidential information handled.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with diverse communities and promoting equality.
  • An ability to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
