About Our Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Safeguarding team in Kingston and Richmond. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who are subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children and young people in need, including those subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans
- Building strong relationships with families, their support networks, and partner agencies
- Conducting regular assessments, writing threshold applications, and chairing meetings
- Ensuring children and young people are actively involved in our work and their voice is captured in our case recording
- Participating in reflective supervision and group supervision
About You
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Resilient worker able to work effectively in a team or independently
- Confident and competent in relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks
- Evidence of championing inclusion and diversity
- Solution-focused with the ability to deal with sensitive issues
