We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) team. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with children with complex needs, learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders to provide care and support that promotes their independence and life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by Family Care Group
  • Support young people with personal care needs, including moving and handling in line with policies and procedures
  • Attend and contribute to supervision sessions and appraisal processes
  • Represent the company with the highest professional standards
  • Participate in training programs and individual training courses
  • Undertake waking night duties in accordance with the home's Rota
  • Maintain all records in accordance with company policy, regulations, and statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Current valid full driving license
  • Previous Residential Childcare experience (not nursery/early years)
  • Experience with Learning disabilities or mental health support for adults & children
  • Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (desirable)
  • Ability to work on a night shift/Rota basis - waking night shifts - 152 hours per month
  • Enhanced DBS certificate required upon appointment
