Job Description:

This role requires a skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our theatres team at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone. The successful candidate will have a strong background in theatre nursing or operating department practice, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as a scrub practitioner, with occasional opportunities to work in anaesthetics or recovery
  • Ensuring practice is within an ethical and legal framework
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Participating in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Post-registration clinical experience as a Theatre Practitioner / ODP in an acute hospital (NHS or independent)
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and its application
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
