We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse to join our team at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary in line with the Agenda for Change.
The successful candidate will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary Theatres team, working within scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery to deliver exceptional patient care and safety within the theatre unit.
This role is ideal for a registered Theatre Nurse (or ODP) with proven experience working in a fast-paced theatre environment. You will be patient-oriented, focused on continuous service development, and committed to delivering high standards of clinical care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work primarily as a scrub practitioner, with occasional responsibilities in anaesthetics or recovery.
- Assess and implement patient care requirements, evaluating outcomes to ensure optimal results.
- Maintain a strong commitment to ethical and legal frameworks in your practice and that of others.
- Prioritize post-registration clinical experience as a Theatre Practitioner / ODP in an acute hospital setting.
- Showcase evidence of continuous professional development and its practical application.
- Oversee daily workload planning, organisation, and supervision in a theatre suite.
Salary: Competitive salary in line with the Agenda for Change (£50,000 - £60,000 per annum).
