">Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone. As an anaesthetic ODP, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and support the success of our hospital.

">Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Working as a scrub practitioner, with opportunities to develop skills as an anaesthetic or recovery practitioner
  2. Maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient care
  3. Providing evidence-based care and promoting best practice within the theatre team
  4. Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Post-registration clinical experience as a Theatre Practitioner/ODP in an acute hospital setting
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced theatre environments
  • A patient-focused approach with a commitment to continuous service development
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends

This role is based at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone, with a 5-hour weekly commitment, covering 4 days between Monday and Saturday (07:45-17:45), with one Saturday per month.
