We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Educational Needs Support Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant looking to progress their career and develop their knowledge and expertise in providing specialist support for students with various Special Educational Needs (SEND).

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide personalised and bespoke support for students, enabling them to make both academic and personal progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality interventions either 1:1 or in small groups
  • Contributing to the planning and evaluation of learning activities with teaching staff
  • Supporting the implementation of APDRs, behaviour plans, curriculum planning, and assessment
  • Providing detailed feedback to teachers, parents, or outside agencies as needed
  • Encouraging and promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students
