Key Responsibilities- Provide expert quality assurance advice and support to NHS organisations in the South West region, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct independent audits of licensed and unlicensed GxP activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the South West Regional Pharmacy Procurement team to ensure quality assurance aspects are integrated into tender specifications and product evaluation.
- Develop and deliver education and training programs to enhance quality assurance and quality management skills among pharmacy professionals.
- Work closely with the Pharmacy Workforce Development South team to coordinate and promote common ways of working across the region, driving efficiencies and best practice.

Requirements- Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Post-graduate diploma or equivalent specialist qualification in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Experience of providing quality assurance and quality management services to licensed and unlicensed units.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and patient safety.
