About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Catering Support Assistant to join our team at Air Charter Service. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch to our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling food, and organizing ingredients.
  • Work in accordance with Health and Hygiene regulations and our kitchen Food Safety Management System.
  • Keep all areas of the kitchen tidy to a high standard, washing up, emptying the dishwasher, and removing waste in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development of a changing weekly menu.
  • Refill tea and coffee stations and fruit bowls around the building as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels and expiry dates on a daily basis.
  • Assist with shopping orders and deliveries.
Requirements
  • Level 2 certification in Food Hygiene and Safety.
  • Previous experience in a similar catering support role is essential.
  • High standards of personal hygiene.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and self-motivation.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency.
  • A hard-working team player who can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous when working with and serving colleagues.

  • Starting salary of £30,000 per annum.
  • Working hours: 07:00 - 15:00.
