Student Wellbeing Coordinator Position at Hereward College

We are seeking a dedicated Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Hereward College in Coventry, West Midlands. The successful candidate will have a strong background in counselling/psychotherapy and experience working with young people with SEND.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with complex needs and wants to make a difference in their lives.

The role involves providing short- and long-term support to students using various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate statistical information is collected and provided
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and contribute to the development of the College's wellbeing strategy
  • Provide support and guidance to students, parents, and carers as needed
