Hello,

Our client, a world leader in the design and manufacture of skid-mounted rotary compressors, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team in Stonehouse. The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate quotations for compressor packages, interpreting application requirements and dealing with technical and commercial queries while delivering a high-quality service to global customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review customers' enquiries, including data sheets, project specifications, P&IDs, and terms and conditions.
  2. Select suitable materials of construction, flow control, sealing systems, lube oil systems, cooling, acoustic attenuation, and instrumentation for new compressors and compressor packages.
  3. Hold a higher education or training in engineering, mathematics, technology, or physical science, with a mechanical engineering qualification being the most suitable.
  4. Have knowledge and understanding of rotating machinery, such as pumps, compressors, and mechanical seals, and of fluid handling equipment, such as piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and measuring instruments.
  5. Have experience in the Engineering sector.
  6. Be commercially aware, with knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  7. Be confident in the use of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Project.
