Vocational Carpentry Educator

Austin Fraser seeks a talented Vocational Carpentry Educator to join our team and contribute to the growth of our Construction & Building Services programmes.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves designing and delivering high-quality learning experiences, developing relevant teaching materials, and integrating Maths & English into vocational curricula.
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to develop and expand our programmes, ensuring learners receive the best possible education and skills to succeed in their chosen careers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions, catering to learners of different ages and abilities.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including handouts, assignments, and electronic resources.
- Support learners in achieving their targets, particularly in Maths & English.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 2 vocational qualification in Site Carpentry.
- Certificate in Education/PGCE/DTLLS/DET or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Substantial recent experience in the industry, preferably with a strong focus on carpentry and construction.
- Experience in lecturing or training within the industry is essential.
