High Voltage Network Technician

As a Voltage Complaints Technician, you will work on the Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) network to resolve ongoing technical issues identified through ESQCR regulations.
The successful candidate will undertake investigations, customer liaison, and planning of works to resolve technical issues in line with policy and regulation standards. This role involves responding to customer enquiries around continuity of supply on the network to ensure reliable performance and network security to meet regulatory and business plan objectives.
You will be required to protect the environment and surrounding work areas to ensure the Company's reputation is safeguarded. Additionally, you will respond to emergency events including severe weather as required.
Key requirements include Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and New Roads & Streetworks Act (NRSWA) certification. A good working knowledge of the Operational Safety Rules and hold Operational Authorisations Cat 1 - 5 (Substation Entry, Supervising a Working Party, LV Switching), 10 (Mobile Generation).
Cat 12 & Cat 14 (SAP) authorisations or working towards this are also essential. The salary for this position is estimated at £40,000-£50,000 depending on skills and experience plus London Allowance if based in Slough/London.
