About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our Red Cell Pain Management and Psychology Service at St George's Hospital. The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary team to provide psychological support to patients with haemoglobinopathies and chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and intervention to patients with haemoglobinopathies and chronic pain
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver workshops, outreach, and patient participation projects
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the service's strategic plan
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service's policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Experience of working with patients with haemoglobinopathies and chronic pain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
