SeeAbility is a pioneering disability charity with over 225 years of experience in providing specialist support. We are seeking a highly skilled PBS and BSL Support Worker to join our team.

About the Role

This full-time, permanent position involves supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. You will be working in Hampshire, but occasional travel to Manchester may be required.

The ideal candidate will have a valid UK driving license, British Sign Language level 2 or 3, and experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Autism.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for daily care and support, building relationships, empowering independence, and promoting social engagement. You will work closely with the individuals we support, their families, and other professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily care and support: assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks
  • Building relationships: getting to know the people we support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms

  • Social engagement: supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone can enjoy what they love doing
