We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a South Asian Community Engagement Officer. This role will focus on engaging with the South Asian community in Rugby and promoting the services available at the Alzheimer's Society.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse groups. They will play a key role in building relationships with local community groups and organizations and promoting the services available at the Alzheimer's Society.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and has a strong connection to the South Asian culture. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a variety of settings and have experience in event planning and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with the South Asian community through events and activities
- Building relationships with local community groups and organizations
- Promoting the services available at the Alzheimer's Society
Requirements:
- Age 18 or above
- Good knowledge and understanding of the local community
- Experience in event planning and community engagement
Salary: £22,800 - £27,600 per annum
