Make a Difference in a Child's Life

We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Senior Children's Adventure Care Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide outstanding levels of childcare and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home. You will be working in a two-bed service providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support to our young people. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping them achieve stability and security in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  • Participate in outdoor and adventure activities, promoting a sense of adventure and exploration in our young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete).
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
