About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our residential children's homes in Derbyshire. As a Residential Children's Homes Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational activities, including staff, budgets, and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the efficient operation of the homes.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Children Act and the Guide to the Children's Homes Regulations.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
  • Recognised social work qualification or professional qualification relevant to working with children.
  • Experience of supervising staff and managing professional staff.
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people.
