Job Title: Residential Children's Homes Manager

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Homes Manager to lead our team of dedicated professionals in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential care homes.

About the Role

We are looking for a manager who can provide strategic leadership and direction to our residential care homes, ensuring that we deliver excellent care and support to our young people. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential childcare, with experience of managing teams and budgets, and a proven track record of improving outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of residential care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of services
  • Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people
  • Contribute to the development of our residential care strategy and ensure that it is implemented effectively
