NHS Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mentor and Coach to join our team. As a Child Mentor, you will work with newly qualified nurses, midwives, AHPs, and other clinical staff in the early stages of their career. Your role will be crucial in supporting their development, providing guidance, and helping them navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and social care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to demonstrate empathy, patience, and a passion for mentoring. We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver presentations to preceptors and students, promoting complex information in an engaging way.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge and promote professional practice in line with current standards.
- Support education development programs for supervisors, assessors, and preceptors.
- Identify opportunities to maximize benefits from new information and technologies.
Requirements:
- Registered Health Professional
- Educated to degree level
- Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
- Mentorship qualification or equivalent
