We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team at Gatwick IRC, providing exceptional care to around 440 patients. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care, gaining valuable insights into Mental Health and Substance Misuse. You will also have access to a range of training opportunities, including the chance to work towards your RCGP level 2 and other qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse patient group, developing your knowledge in areas you may not typically experience in a general practice or A&E environment.
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis, making timely decisions regarding patient management.
- Offer specialist support to other healthcare team members and patients, with active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
What We Offer:
- A competitive annual salary up to £130,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience, plus payment of MDU/MPS subscription and CPD days.
- Opportunities for portfolio work or cross-site working, with extra shifts and overtime available.
- A Golden Hello of £3,000 (£1,000 per year for 3 years, subject to conditions and milestones).

Qualifications and Experience:
- MBChB or MBBS qualification.
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
- Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
