We are seeking an unqualified teacher to fill a cover supervisor role at a secondary school in West Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education or develop their skills in a school setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing student behavior, supervising pre-planned work, and supporting teachers in the classroom. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students of various ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing student behavior and promoting a positive learning environment
- Supervising pre-planned work and ensuring students complete tasks on time
- Supporting teachers in the classroom and providing additional support when needed
Requirements:
- Recent experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
- Degree-educated individual with a passion for working with children
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students
- Punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role
Salary: £100-£140 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
