About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Daventry. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in our Reception class.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the management of classroom resources, equipment and materials.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in assessing pupil progress and recording achievements.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • TA experience in a UK Primary/Secondary/SEN School or hold relevant qualifications.
  • Experience with working in an Early Years setting (desirable).
  • Passion for supporting young children with their social and cognitive development.
  • Ability and personality to engage and progress children from all backgrounds.
