Education Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in West Northamptonshire. As an Education Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom, managing student behavior, and supervising pre-planned work.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education or develop their skills in a school setting. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students of various ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in the classroom
- Managing student behavior and promoting a positive learning environment
- Supervising pre-planned work and ensuring students complete tasks on time
Requirements:
- Recent experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
- Degree-educated individual with a passion for working with children
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students
- Punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role
Salary: £100-£140 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
