Cyber Security Transformation Programme Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Transformation Programme Manager to oversee and manage the CSIRT function in the UK. This role will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and executing a range of Security Services within the Cyber Security Operations Team, including incident Response, Event Monitoring, Security Device Configuration, Security Testing, Digital Forensics, Red Team, and Threat Hunting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage people and resources to deliver new tools, processes, and services within the Cyber Security Operations team.
  • Ensure successful delivery and operation of security tools and services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise into the security strategy, developing and managing the strategic roadmap in the UK.
  • Define and evolve the security tools, resources, and processes.
  • Manage security incidents, day-to-day management of team members and supplier activity, relating to operational security services.
  • Define a program of security initiatives, manage senior stakeholders, and work closely with OT security functions to ensure the delivery of an integrated IT/OT security strategy.

Requirements

  • Specialist knowledge of IT Security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications.
  • Significant experience of IT Security Operations in an organisation of similar scope and scale to ScottishPower.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting security tools and services.
  • Experience in leading activities relating to IT security incidents ranging from minor to high/critical impact levels.
  • Experience in managing security service providers and security software suppliers.
  • Awareness of key legislation and regulation impacting the delivery of IT Security in an energy utility.
  • Experience and understanding of OT Security challenges and solutions.
  • Experience in providing SME input into IT Security Operations Strategies and Product Roadmaps.
