About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Product Engineer to join our IAM Product Team at Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new functionality within our IAM and PAM toolkits, maximising their value, collecting end user feedback, and supporting our Tech Leads and the wider team with development or incident resolution as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working within the IAM Product team, supporting project work and automation with our IAM toolkit, OneIdentity Identity Manager, to include development work and integration with colleague-facing systems.
  • Helping to deliver our IAM improvement programme, with focus on employee lifecycle management and maturing RBAC.
  • Proactively obtaining feedback and metrics on IAM products' performance to drive improvements.
  • Supporting Major Incident events, feeding into the PIR process and helping to produce the RCA.
  • Managing tickets logged in ServiceNow and Jira, including Incidents, Changes, Requests and Problems, effectively and to SLA.
  • Managing Product backlog, prioritising service based on business value.
  • Helping to deliver the product vision and strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and making sure that technical and non-technical users alike are maximising product functionalities.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate system documentation, including change requests, technical and user guides, hardware and software asset and configuration requests.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in an IAM engineering or closely equivalent role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with IAM tools, such as One Identity Manager, Sailpoint IIQ, Okta, Ping, Saviynt or equivalent. They will also have practical work-based experience across recertification, access analysis, toxic combinations, IAM policy, IAM technology, culture, incident response and risk management.

The successful candidate will be able to evaluate the adequacy of IAM controls, suggest and drive improvement. They will also be an effective and engaging communicator, able to present complex information in simple context, adapting their style to suit their audience. ITIL certification or a good awareness of ITIL is also desirable.

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of a two-stage interview, with the first stage using competency questions and the second stage a practical task.

Working Schedule

We are looking for a full-time IAM Product Engineer to join our team, based in Bristol head office. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
