Deputy Manager - Specialist Residential Care

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Bannister Farm Cottage, a specialist residential care home for individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of support staff in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties.
  2. Develop and implement care plans that promote independence, autonomy, and well-being.
  3. Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  4. Manage challenging behaviours and provide support to individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in leading a team in a specialist residential care setting.
  2. Strong management and leadership skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
