We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Manager at The Sterling Choice, a leading manufacturing business.

Role Overview:

The HR Manager will serve as a key member of our HR team, handling a variety of HR functions and supporting the smooth operation of our HR processes. This is a hands-on role that involves ensuring the effective management of employee relations, HR policies, and procedures.

  • Managing employee relations and providing guidance to managers and staff.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Day-to-day management of the HR team, coordinating and delivering training programs to support employee development.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary procedures and grievances.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to support employee development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Senior HR role with some management/direct report responsibility, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
  • CIPD Level 5 is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
