Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at ELP Consult Ltd. as a Corporate Banking Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, structuring deals, and supporting the Corporate Banking Relationship Manager in the Business Development Department.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new businesses for the bank by working closely with the Corporate Banking Relationship Manager.
  • Work on due diligence analysis, credit proposal preparation, client onboarding, and facility funding for new transactions.
  • Follow the bank's internal process to achieve successful deal closures.
  • Contribute to business development and promote the bank's products to targeted clients.
  • Maintain regular updates with key industry contacts to stay informed about market trends.
  • Play a vital role in covenant and post-lending monitoring of the bank's existing loan book.
  • Work on periodic reviews and non-periodic reviews of existing portfolio names.
  • Liaise with counterparties, including local branches, sister branches, and head office, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to regulations, legal obligations, and data protection rules.
  • Develop required skills for account planning, client pitching, and cross-selling, and gain initial experience in client ownership.
  • Familiarize yourself with and comply with the bank's various policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in economics, accounting, finance, business, or law.
  • A minimum of 13 years relevant work experience in a similar role in the financial sector, ideally in a commercial/corporate banking environment.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Competence in building rapport, trust, and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Result-oriented and can-do spirit.
  • Able to work in a small team with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Willingness to embrace new cultures, break down barriers, and challenge complacency.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
