Job Description:

The Corporate Banking Quantitative Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative models and tools that support corporate banking activities within TD Bank - London Branch.

This role requires a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement quantitative models that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management practices. They will also be proficient in programming languages such as Python or R and have experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models to price and manage risk across various asset classes.
  • Analyze market data and identify trends to inform model development and optimization.
  • Collaborate with corporate banking teams, traders, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between model outputs and business needs.
  • Design and implement data visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in quantitative finance.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantitative finance, preferably in a banking or investment firm.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools and SQL databases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
