Part-time Counselling Role for Children and Young People

We are seeking a part-time counsellor to join our team at Wycombe High School. As a counsellor, you will be working closely with children and young people aged 11-18, providing a supportive environment where they can explore their concerns safely.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working as a counsellor and knowledge or experience of working in an educational environment would be desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will provide a caring and supportive environment, involving a diverse range of issues.

Job Description:

School Counsellor Job Summary

This is a part-time position working 22 hours per week over 39 weeks per annum. The actual annual salary is £13,410 - £14,508.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
  • With a 16:00 finish on Friday

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent experience of working as a counsellor for children and young people aged 11-18
  • Knowledge or experience of working in an educational environment would be desirable but is not essential
