About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Manager to join our team at Haymarket Hotel. As a Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient overnight operation of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel's overnight activities, ensuring all departments operate seamlessly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between guests, the General Manager, and the operational team.
- Continuously monitor and uphold our high service standards, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the night.
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or accidents involving guests or staff members.
- Deliver and sustain outstanding levels of customer service, addressing guest needs and concerns with professionalism.
- Provide operational support across all departments as needed, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations.
- Execute the night audit process and generate nightly reports for senior management review.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Night Manager or Head of Department in a 5-star hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Exceptional attention to detail, driven by a commitment to delivering high standards.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding the team.
- Resilient and proactive, with a strong drive to get things right the first time.
- Familiarity with Micros and Opera systems is desirable.
