About the CompanyMelia White House Hotel is a leading hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of all guests during their time at the hotel by supporting the operational departments in the delivery of their duties.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Head of Departments for the update and follow up of the Hotels Action Plan.
- Provide maximum support to all team members alleviating problems or delays that may occur during the shift.
- Complete daily inspection of all hotel facilities ensuring a checklist is completed.
- Ensure a full handover with the previous and following Duty Manager/Night Manager.
- Coordinate operations within outlets and facilitate reallocation of staff if required due to exceptional business needs.
- Support sales team with VIP site visits, providing a point of contact and escalation point as needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Hospitality.
- English language proficiency.
- Spanish language proficiency (desirable).
- Knowledge of Hotel Operations.
- Empathy and understanding.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,840-£30,000 per annum, inclusive of 29 days holiday including 8 public holidays, contributory pension scheme, and refer-a-friend bonus of £500 after successfully completing 6 months probation.
