Learning and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join our Group HR team at our head office in East Kilbride. This role reports directly to the Group HR Manager and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our L&D initiatives.
As the L&D Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and implementing AI-driven strategies to support employee growth and performance development.
Manage the full lifecycle of L&D, from identifying training needs to delivering and evaluating first-class programs. Introduce and roll out innovative AI-driven strategies, including the use of ChatGPT, to enhance employee and leadership development.
Design and present tailored training strategies and programs to senior leadership incorporating long-term business needs. Regularly monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Performance Development:
- Work with Group HR Manager to enhance performance development, aligning it with organisational goals and employee ambitions.
- Support leaders and employees in L&D evaluation and feedback to foster continuous growth and improvement.
Succession Planning:
- Collaborate with the Group HR Manager to design a standardised succession planning strategy across the business.
- Equip managers with tools to facilitate effective performance and development discussions.
Develop analytics to assess the effectiveness of L&D and succession initiatives. Use metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of L&D management and succession planning programs and make data-driven decisions.
A degree in HRM, Business, Education or related field, or equivalent professional experience is required. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced PowerPoint, are also essential. Exceptional relationship-building skills and emotional intelligence are crucial for success in this role.
You will bring extensive experience in delivering impactful training programs, with a deep understanding of modern L&D approaches, including AI-driven solutions. You should be confident in leading L&D programs, succession planning, and implementing leadership curricula that drive organisational excellence.
