VINCI Facilities is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead and implement HSE culture changes on our Defence contract covering the South of England.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Health and Safety professional to join our team and make a real impact on our Defence contract. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and guidelines, and for implementing effective HSE management standards across the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and Governance: Reporting to the Head of HSEQ and maintaining a dotted reporting line into the Project Director.
- HSE Policy and Guidelines: Supporting the management in HSE policy and guidelines across the contract.
- Team Leadership: Directly managing a team of HSEQ Advisors in their day-to-day activity, providing HSE leadership, training, and operational support.
- Compliance and Audits: Governance of legal compliance and delivering the internal audit programme.
- Collaboration and Communication: Driving a consistent approach to HSEQ and collaborating with Operations Performance teams and central functions.
Requirements:
- Proven Health and Safety Expertise: Proven Health and Safety expertise, with a background in construction or facilities management.
- Qualifications and Certifications: Proven knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes and legislation, with a NEBOSH or Level 6 equivalent qualification.
