YMCA Robin Hood Group is seeking an experienced Senior Play Leader to manage our school club at John Hunt Primary School in Newark. As a Senior Play Leader, you will be responsible for planning and delivering exceptional play activities for children aged 4-11 years old.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a programme of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure the provision of a high-quality play service.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in early years, play work, or childcare provision.
  • Paediatric first aid qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers excellent benefits, including workplace pension with Royal London, life insurance/death in service, reduced school holiday childcare places, cycle to work scheme, opportunities for development and progression, and support for further study up to post-graduate level 7 courses.
