We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic leader to oversee our wrap-around school club at John Hunt Primary School in Newark. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering exceptional play activities, inspiring their team to maintain high standards of play through a fun, safe, and positive programme.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in early years, play work, or childcare provision and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging play activities for children aged 4-11 years old.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure the provision of a high-quality play service.
- Develop and implement a programme of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- A Level 3 qualification in early years, play work, or childcare provision.
- Paediatric first aid qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive annual salary £50,000 depending on experience.
- Equivalent of 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing 1 day each year for your first 5 years.
