Commercial Manager Newark

A leading developer is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of their new build housing projects in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in quantity surveying, ideally with experience working on new build housing projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
• Control all expenditure and ensure timely cash flow management
• On-board sub contractors/suppliers and process their payment requests
• Monitor and report on project costs and revenues
• Attend project and company meetings as required
Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of delivering contracts on time and within budget
• Knowledge of Supply Chain management
What We Offer:
Competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum, annual performance bonus, private medical cover, car allowance, and company pension.
