About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients, promoting independence and empowering them to manage their daily lives.

Job Summary:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a community setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake assessments, make recommendations and provide interventions to support individuals to achieve their goals and participate fully in life activities.
  • Using evidence-based practice, to ensure clinical care is effective and appropriate.
  • Working within Trust and COT guidelines, have a good working knowledge of national and local standards of practice in line with legal and operational requirements.

Person Specification:

  • Degree or equivalent, eg. BSc, MSc or Diploma entry level qualification into the OT profession.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Documented evidence of own continuing professional development.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
