We are seeking an exceptional General Practitioner to join our team at Upwell Health Centre, a well-established and caring practice in the heart of Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to our practice population, adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice. You will work autonomously as a GP, leading by example and maintaining a positive working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to take on a leadership role, contributing to the effective management of the practice and driving continuous improvement. You will have the chance to work in a supportive environment, where we prioritize flexible working arrangements and a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality clinical care to our patients, ensuring compliance with PMS contract requirements
- Take part in regular team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Participate in quality initiatives, such as clinical governance, training, and financial management
- Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to best practices and guidelines
- Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in primary care, with experience in QOF and clinical audit
- Qualifications include MRCGP, Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP, and General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- Flexibility to work outside core office hours, with a willingness to participate in rotating telephone triage and duty doctor roles
- Eligibility to practice independently in the UK, with appropriate defense indemnity (MPS/MDU) and National Performers List registration
