Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Leeds, York, or Hull. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing the workflow and delivery of designs across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production of engineering designs, calculations, and ensure quality assurance
  • Conceptualize and detail engineering solutions, presenting options to the team
  • Work closely with CAD Technicians to produce drawings and conduct site surveys as required
  • Maintain commercial awareness and ensure cost control measures are in place
  • Record and track documents electronically, monitoring adherence to quality assurance
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables
  • Aid in the development of junior staff through training and mentoring
  • Contribute to the development of the office by introducing improvements to procedures and practices
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in Structural Design on infrastructure projects
  • Proficient in industry CAD packages, including AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, CADS RC, or MasterSeries
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
